Six Ways to Relax

In my previous blog I mentioned why it is necessary to relax, breath and be grateful.

Well, in this blog post I am going to share with you 6 simple ways to relax, breathe and be grateful.

All you have to do is follow these steps and your brain will work better and your body will feel better too!

So with that said, let's begin! Let's start relaxing.

1) Get out of the house:

The fresh air is always good for the soul, even if it is just for 15 minutes before returning home. The fresh air wakes you up and makes you feel better.  

2) Take a warm shower:

After coming back from the fresh air, take a warm shower or bath. This will relax your muscles and relieve tension in your body.

3) Do a few stretches:

To further release tension in your body, do a few simple stretches. You could do some yoga moves, stretches or some simple exercises like push ups or sit ups.

4) Light a candle:

Light a scented candle, maybe lavender or something that smells good to you. This will help relax your mind and body.

5) Snuggle up with warm blankets:

Snuggle up in warm blankets and close your eyes for at least 15 minutes. This is where I do my best thinking and it helps me stay calm.

6) Meditate:

Just like the blanket cuddling exercise, meditate for at least 15 minutes without any distraction. This will clear your mind and allow you to think better.

Once you are relaxed, breathe in deeply. Take a few deep breaths in and out. As you breathe in, visualize all the negative energy getting sucked out of you!

When that is done, be grateful for what you have. Count your blessings and recognize how lucky you are for what you have!
